Common Ground Forest Park is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization. Our activities include fundraising, coordination of various projects, community-building, and advocacy in support of Birmingham, Alabama's historic Forest Park neighborhood.
Inspired by residents who worked collaboratively in the past to achieve important outcomes for Forest Park, a new 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to benefit the neighborhood was launched in 2022.
CGFP supports the maintenance and care of Triangle Park, our neighborhood children's park, located at the corner of Clairmont Avenue and Essex Road.

Beginning in 1906, the Jemison Company worked to develop much of what would become Birmingham, Alabama’s Forest Park neighborhood.
